Nathana the halfling sent us to the Glassworks. Some of the shops are closed some are opening.
Curious Goblin - a shop we pass along the way Sandpoint Theater - large and impressive for a town of this size. The market it empty this early in the morning Sandpoint Savories - bakery that smells really good this morning
One of the shop keepers, makes some odd observations of the state of the Glassworks.
Almarion tries the door and finds it locked. I go ahead and pick it. The citizen expresses alarm about me breaking in… I assure him I’ll make sure everything is safe. He says he’ll be getting the town guard. I tell him that is a good idea.
I walk in like I live there and find the ?office? to be empty. My new friends heard a bit of a shriek and some breaking glass. We start going door to door through the place until we get to the main furnace room where we found some goblins. I turned one of my friends invisible with my story magic and we move in to clean up shop.
After dispatching all the goblins, we find the Glassworks owner fully encased in glass. 8 of the workers are also found dead hear. We search the entire first floor and find nothing else. No signs of Ameiko.
heading downstairs…
In the side room I pick a lock… it takes me a couple of minutes.
We find Ameiko’s brother, Tsuto. He accuses his father for causing the issue at the festival. He informs me that he was trying to meet his sister here.
THEN
He launches a monk attack on my new friend Ash’n. I tried to give him Jitterbugs while my friends try to dispatch this guy. I don’t like the way this is going and shout, “Don’t kill him, we probably want to capture him and ask him what’s going on.”
We knock him out… as no one listened to me. I end up healing him and we tie him up and search him. I tried to intimidate him but he was tougher than the kids in the market. We find his journal:
In the side room, we find Ameiko. She’s tied, bound, and unconscious. I give her a healing potion.
She wakes and expresses awareness of her Lonjiku Kaiiitsu’s death, and then asks about her brother. She heals herself more than once. We direct her to Tsuto and she inquires “What have you done!?”
Looks like a large attack is going to be coming…but when? and how?
